Curriculum and Textbook Development in the Baltic States. Looking back at two decades.

Introduction
With their independence in 1991, Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania had to transform respectively to build up their own educational system. Taking the subject of Geography as an example, the conference discussed the developments of the last two decades. The contributions worked out phases and processes of the development, mentioned the contributions of different groups of actors and discussed the present situation, where new forms of teaching and learning entered the classrooms, including internet.
